Apply To Be A PES Peer Mentor

Apply to be a Peer Mentor with the President's Emerging Scholars Program at the U of M, Twin Cities.

About the President's Emerging Scholars:
The President’s Emerging Scholars (PES) is a four-year program that supports undergraduate students with high potential at the University of Minnesota. The objective of the program is to empower students to take advantage of University resources in order to meet their academic, career and personal goals. 

About Peer Mentors:A Peer Mentor in the PES program provides leadership and models positive behavior for new students. Peer Mentors will work closely with PES staff, including college personnel, to support the success of PES students.
There are two primary components of the PES Program as follows:
Components:
1) A 5-day Summer Seminar, where Peer Mentors will lead small groups of students through a digital storytelling workshop
2) Student one-on-one meetings throughout the academic year
Applicants should indicate their preference for either (A) Components 1 & 2, or (B) Component 2 only.
